Our Story

Rose & Margot began with a separation, two suitcases and an eight-year-old girl.

Years ago, Rose found herself alone in London, having to start everything again from scratch — including the way she saw fashion. She began making made-to-measure pieces for the women of her neighbourhood, here in Marylebone. Not for catalogue sizes. For real bodies, for women who were living their lives and simply wanted to feel good in what they wore.

In the early days, everything passed through her hands. Each customer would arrive, explain what she was looking for, and Rose would truly respond — not with standard sizes, but with the same advice you'd give a friend who asks you "but what should I actually wear?". Every piece was thought out individually. Every stitch, a choice made by hand.

Margot grew up among those workrooms and offcuts, watching her mother work. In time, what had been Rose's craft became her path too.

Building something like this takes years, energy, and a great deal of personal life poured into a project. But that is exactly where the most important part of all this was born: today Margot works alongside her mother, and together they carry Rose & Margot forward as what it has always been — a family project, built one decision at a time.

This new chapter has brought a more solid structure, a real collection, a growing team. But the soul has stayed exactly the same as it was in the very beginning.

Every piece is still chosen with the same question in mind: "would a real woman wear this to feel truly like herself?" Every collection is designed for women who work, who go out, who live — not for a mannequin, not for a sample size.

We don't sell trends. We sell that feeling of finally knowing what to wear.

From a small tailoring workroom in a London neighbourhood, Rose & Margot is today the choice of women right across the country. And honestly, that still amazes us every time we stop to think about it.

This year we're celebrating ten years together with you.
